On the Loos Memorial is the name of 8054 Company Serjeant Major Charles Richardson, serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers who died 25/09/1915.

In Berwick upon Tweed Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

Loving memory of
Charles Richardson
Killed in action France
25th Sept. 1915, aged 38 years.
Husband of Annie Burgon
Died 21st May 1971, aged 92 years.
Also their eldest son Charles
Died 20th Novr. 1919 aged 13 years
Also their youngest son
George Sydney
Flight Lieutenant R.A.F.
Killed in operations, Singapore
26th Jany. 1942, aged 28 years.
Also their elder daughter
Margaret Manuel
Died 22nd Jan. 2000, aged 89 years.

His younger brother George Sydney Richardson was killed in 1942.

He is remembered in Berwick on B25.01 and B25.01
