In Carnoy Military Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 18010 Private Robert Gray, serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers who died 12/08/1915.

His brother John was also killed.

His story has been researched by Belford Museum.

Robert Gray is remembered in Belford on B16.01 and B16.02 page 12
