In Adanac Military Cemetery, Miraumont, Somme, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 291058 Private James Wealleans, serving with the 1st/7th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers, who died 15/09/1916.

Morpeth Herald 29/12/1916 carries the following:
Mrs Weallens [sic], Rennington Moor, Alnwick, is officially informed that her husband, Private James Weallens [sic], N.F. was wounded and missing on September 15th.

James Weallens is remembered at Belford on B16.01, and at Alnwick as Pte. J. Wealliams in The Battalion History
