In Maple Copse Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2014 Serjeant Henry Hill, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 12/02/1916.

In Belford Cemetery is family headstone which reads:

In loving memory
of
Sarah Ellen
dearly beloved daughter of
Henry and Sarah Hill
died Feb.8 1919 in her 17th year
Sergt, Harry Hill their
youngest son, fell in action
near Ypres Feb. 12th 1916
aged 23 years,
Interred at Maple Copse.
Also the above
Henry Hill,
died Dec. 19 1944, aged 80 years,
Also the above
Sarah Hill
died Mar. 27 1954 aged 91 years.
John Edward Nixon
son-in-law of the above
died Aug.8 1974 aged 80 years.
