Mann, W.J., Pte., 1914
In the Royal Irish Rifle Graveyard, Laventie is the Commonwealth War Grave of 1150 Private Walter James Mann, serving with the 1st Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers who died 15/10/1914.

Son of Emma Elizabeth Mann, of 3, Brewery Lane, Bridge, Canterbury, and the late Seth Mann.

He was killed in action on the 15th October 1914.

He is remembered at Alnwick in A11.043 page 58
