Sgt (Pilot) R J Willcox (Service Nš 590740) of 12 Sqn was lost during the Battle of France in Fairey Battle I L5383, shot down by Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighters near Evreux on June 14th 1940. The crew of three were all killed, and are buried in the Communal Cemetery in Pacy-sur-Eure, 17 km ESE of Evreux.
