Dobson, A., F/Sgt., 1944
On the Runnymede Memorial is the name of 1529674 Flight Sergeant Alexander Dobson, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 27/08/1944.

F/Sgt Dobson was lost in Lancaster I HK604 WP-G of 90 Squadron, which crashed into the North Sea on a mission to Kiel from RAF Tuddenham. The bodies of three of the crew were washed ashore on Sylt, but F/Sgt Dobson has no known grave and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial.
