He was the husband of Sarah Crosby of 5 Alexandria Road, Ashington. His death was registered in Alnwick. He is not remembered at Alnwick but is remembered at Ashington, possibly because his wife was living in Ashington at the time of his death.
Further research-: The 1891 census shows Thomas, aged 10, living with his grandparents Frank (55) and Elizabeth (56) at Low Mill, Adderstone. The 1901 census shows Thomas, age 20, employed as a coal miner hewer living with his 65 year old mother (?) Elspeth at Belford Moor Farm Cottages. Thomas was born at Chesters Hill (1891 census) or Bamborough (Bamburgh) (1901 census).
