In Longuenesse (St. Omer) Souvenir Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of M2/116833 Private Charles Bonnier, serving with the 388th Mechanical Transport Coy. Army Service Corps, who died 22/12/1916.

Morpeth Herald 05/01/1917 carries a brief obituary:

Information has been received by Mr and Mrs Bonnier, of Alnwick, that their eldest son, Staff Driver Charles Bonnier, Royal [sic] Army Service Corps, has died in hospital from injuries.

Charles Bonnier is remembered at Alnwick as C.E. Bonnier on A11.01 and as C.D. Bonnier on A11.03, A11.09, A11.21 and A11.56
