In Boulogne Eastern Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 221476 Private John Edward Joicey, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 08/07/1916.

In Walker (Christ Church) Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:
In loving memory
of
Ann Joicey
the dearly beloved wife of
Edward Joicey
who died October 20th 1910
aged 54 years.
Also their son
Private John Edward Joicey
6 Coy. 3rd Batt. Tyneside Scottish
who died from wounds received
in action in France, July 8th 1916
aged 31 years.
Also the above
Edward Joicey
who died April 5th 1936
aged 80 years.
