In Suez War Memorial Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Fourth Engineer William Peacock Crawford, serving with the Mercantile Marine who died 17/09/1916.

In Walker (Christ Church) Churchyard is a family headstone which reads:

Mary Ann Crawford
who died February 22 1906
aged 41 years.
Also their children
William and Georgina Elizabeth
who died in infancy
and
William Peacock
youngest son
Engineer in Mercantile Service
who departed this life and was
laid to rest in the cemetery at
Port Tewfick, Suez, Egypt
aged 22 years
also of the above
Mary Ann Crawford
who died March 18th 1945
aged 77 years.
