Hill, N.F., Fus., 1940
In Henin-sur-Cojeul Communal Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of 4273692 Fusilier Nicholas Frederick Hill serving with the 8th Battalion Royal Northumberland Fusiliers who died between 19th-22nd May 1940.

He is included in the Scout Roll of Honour 1939-45 as having been a member of the 1st Newcastle-on-Tyne (Sea Scouts) Group. It also gives his age as 27 when he died, whereas the CWGC says he was aged 20.

Nicholas Frederick Hill is remembered in the Heaton Works Journal page 567.
