Royal Victoria Infirmary Coroner's report No. 497 dated 4th December 1917:

"Arthur Charles Tidmarch aged 57 years. Army Pensioner. R.A.M.C. and Civilian Cook at Military Hospital Barracks N.C. Home address West House, Barrack Road, died in the Guardroom at Artillery Barracks at 5pm on 3rd.

Deceased died from Mitral Disease of the Heart."
