died June 25th 1951 aged 54 years
William Heatley,
died Oct. 29th 1962 aged 69 years.
F/Off. Heatley was serving with 35 Squadron. He was a crew member of Lancaster III PB197 TL-P which took off from Graveley on a mission to Wanne-Eickel. On return, the aircraft overshot the runway and crashed into a wood near Cambridge. Five crew members died, two were injured.
