In Cement House Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave of Captain Harold P. Dobson, serving with the Northumberland Fusiliers who died 16/10/1917.

In Newcastle upon Tyne (All Saints) Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

In loving memory
of
Elizabeth Isabella,
The dearly loved wife of
John K. Moffat,
Who died October 28th 1920,
Aged 63 years.
The above John K. Moffat,
Who died December 11th 1924,
Aged 71 years
And was interred at Havre.
Also Captain Harold P. Dobson,
Killed in action at Ypres, Belgium,
October 16th 1917, aged 31 years,
Dearly loved husband of
Their daughter Margaret.
Also Rachel Pickering,
Dearly loved daughter of
John and Rachel Moffat
Passed peacefully away
Sept. 10th 1937 aged 18 years.
