In Newcastle upon Tyne Jewish Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 393347 Lance Corporal Maurice Meyer Glass, serving with the Royal Army Medical Corps who died 21/10/1918.

The headstone reads:

In loving memory of
Maurice Meyer Glass
L/Cpl. R.A.M.C. (T)
who died while serving in the Great War
Marcheshvan 15th 5679 October 21st 1918
Aged 29

Forever mourned by his brother and
Sisters. May his dear soul rest in peace.

He is remembered in Newcastle on NUT212, in Jesmond on J1.25 and in Gosforth on G9.38
