Rose, H.P., 2nd Lieut., 1917
In Brown's Copse Cemetery, Roeux, is the Commonwealth War Grave of Second Lieutenant Hugh Price Rose, serving with the Seaforth Highlanders who died 11/04/1917.

Scouts First World War Roll of Honour names him as a former member of the Newcastle Troop.

He is remembered in Jesmond on J1.06 J1.09 and J1.16
