In St. Andrew's and Jesmond Cemetery is a headstone which reads:

The family burial place of
Frederick Adolph
& Mary Ann Iung
Charles Augustus,
son of above
born Sepr. 27th 1869, died May 25th 1871.
Marguerite Ann Iung,
daughter of above
born March 18th 1853, died May 18th 1867.
The above
Frederick Adolph Iung,
born June ?11th 1819, died March 9th 1900.
Also Mary Ann, widow of the above
born Jany. 27th 1827 died June 2nd 1914.
She passed peacefully away after a strenuous life.
Also in memory of
John Arthur, youngest son of the above,
born Decr. 6th 1865, died March 23rd 1909.
Also their grandson
2nd Lieut. Henry Adolph Iung
3rd Northumberland Fusiliers
born August ?2nd 1894, died from wounds
received at St. Eloi, Belgium, May 9th 1915.

The second (for which we have no photo) reads:
In loving memory of Harry Iung died in France 1915. (and other members of the Iung family).
