In Newcastle-upon-Tyne (St.Andrew’s and Jesmond) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In loving memory of
Ada Weddle
died January 23rd 1940
Also her beloved husband
Henry Milburn Weddle
killed in action
in France July 1st 1916
And their son
Erling Milburn Weddle
died December 13th 1992.

Henry Milburn Weddle is remembered in South Shields on S86.046
