In Newcastle-upon-Tyne (St.Andrew’s and Jesmond) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

In memory of
Janet
Dearly beloved wife of William Telfer
Who passed away November 19th 1928
Also their beloved sons William Lieut. R.A.F.
Killed in action July 24th 1918 aged 19 years
Interred at Coulommiers, France
And Alexander,
Who died April 11th 1922 aged 37 years
Interred at Toronto Canada
Also the above William Telfer
Who passed away Jan. 1st 1932.

William Houston Telfer is remembered in Newcastle on NUT132 and in Fenham F31.01
