In Newcastle upon Tyne (St.Andrew’s and Jesmond) Cemetery is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of TYNE 5/182 Able Seaman William B. Jobling serving with the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve who died 21/04/1916.

The headstone reads:

Died January 19th 1910
Aged 69 years.
Also of
Alice Jane
Beloved wife of the above
Died February 14th 1909
Aged 74 years.
William Bowdon Jobling
R.N.V.R. grand-son of the above
Died April 21st 1916, in his 21st year.
Hugh Dobson
Died Feb. 20th 1921, in his 56th year.
