In Newcastle (St.Andrew’s and Jesmond Cemetery) is the Commonwealth War Grave with a private headstone of 146432 Flying Officer (Pilot) Robert Davison serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 20/04/1944.

The headstone reads:

In Loving Memory of
F/O Robert Davison R.A.F.
beloved husband of Jennie Davison
killed in action 20th April 1944 aged 30 years.
Also John William
father of the above Robert
who died 6 Dec. 1956 aged 83 years.
