F. Bearman
East Lancashire Regiment
15th August 1917

Royal Victoria Infirmary Coroner's Report 378 dated 17th August 1917.

"Frank Bearman aged 36 Years. Lieutenant 7th East Lancashire Regiment. Marske. Yorkshire. Home address. No 47 Rodney Court, Maida Vale, London. W. Died in 1st Northern General Hospital a 11pm on 15th.

Deceased died from internal haemorrhage due to a bullet wound received by a revolver having accidentally gone off whilst he was in the act of cleaning it in his tent at Marske in the County of Yorkshire about 9am the same day."

Note CWGC gives his date of death as 5th.
