as when he sailed away.
Coroner's Report No 393 dated 18th August 1916.
"Stanley S. Chippendale aged 22 years. Bombardier No 1634, Australian Field Artillery Depot, Weymouth.Home address. Boundary St. Paramatta, New South Wales.
Died in 1st Northern General Hospital at on 17th.
After enquiries the Coroner granted a certificate. No inquest necessary. Injured at seat of War."
Note CWGC has the surname as Chippindale. His correct first names are Stanley Francis.
Adelaide Property says "We held our Anzac service at this grave last year (i.e. 2017) with 11 others while travelling through Newcastle. Played the last post on our iPhone. It was raining and cold but nothing compared to what he put up with. Sad for him and his family. He was so far away from home and so young."
