Sergeant George William Robson was serving with 269 Squadron as a crew member of Hudson I P5131 UA-P on an operation to Trondheim. They had attacked the Gneisenau, Admiral Hipper and Scharnhorst. Having been hit by flak, the aircaft crashed into Buvik Harbour. Two crew were killed, one was taken prisoner, the fourth managed to evade capture.
