W. Carruthers
Royal Defence Corps
31st January 1920, age 50.

William was the son of Edward and Bridget; husband of Ann, 4 Stowell Square, Newcastle upon Tyne.

He enlisted on 13th March 1915 and served with 168th Protection Coy. He was discharged on 15th July 1918, under regulation 392.xvi King’s Regulation Sick and was awarded the Silver War Badge on 18th May 1920.
