L. Wells
Northumberland Fusiliers
30th June 1917, age 19.

Lancelot was born in the fourth quarter of 1897 at Newcastle upon Tyne, the son of William and Hannah. He was baptised on 2nd March 1898 at Benwell and the family lived at 60 Larch Street, Benwell.

Lancelot enlisted at Newcastle with the 3rd (Reserve) Battalion and died from appendicitis at home.
