T.W. Scott
Northumberland Fusiliers
9th May 1915, age 37.

Safe in the arms of Jesus.

Thomas William was born at Gateshead, County Durham in 1878, the son of John and Charlotte. He married Mary (nee Lowrey) at Newcastle upon Tyne in the fourth quarter of 1899 and they lived with their family at 255A Scotswood Road, Newcastle.

According to the 1911 Census, his occupation was that of ‘tailor’.

Thomas enlisted at Newcastle with ‘C’ Company, Depot Battalion and died of wounds received in action.
