John Watson was born at Newcastle upon Tyne on 8th December 1918, the son of Archibald and Violet (nee Tweed) of 56 Theodosia Street, Newcastle.
According to the 1939 Register he worked as a shoe repairer.
John is listed on the Army Roll of Honour.
