2nd August 1942, age 27.

and in the morning
we will remember him.

James Henry born in the third quarter of 1915 at Newcastle upon Tyne; the son of James and Ada (nee Eyre), of Newcastle. He was the husband of Martha Doris (nee Binns) whom he married in the third quarter of 1940 at Newcastle and they lived at Pendower.

James enlisted at Newcastle with the 11th Battalion and died as the result of an accident. He is listed on the Army Roll of Honour.
