Robert Henry Nicholson was the husband of Catherine (nee Campbell) of 70 Cottenham Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, whom he married in the second quarter of 1909.
He enlisted in Newcastle with the 21st Battalion (‘B’ Company, 2nd Tyneside Scottish) and was accidently killed during training after suffering a head injury.
