In Dodena Cemetery, Tanzania is the Commonwealth War Grave of DM2/154016 Private Thomas Cook, serving with the Royal Army Service Corps, who died 31/12/1916.

Thomas was the son of Mary Ann of Brandling Garage, High Street, Gosforth, and the late George.
