In Delville Wood Cemetery, Longueval is the Commonwealth War Grave of 19/542 Lance Corporal Edward Stanley Page, serving with the 19th (Service) Battalion (2nd Tyneside Pioneers), who died 29/08/1916.

His story has been recorded by Tom Burnham, whose wife is the great-niece of L/Cpl. Page. See the attached document below. The photos were copies taken from newspapers cuttings as the originals have not been traced.

He is remembered in the Battalion History page 210
