Dunn, W., Pte., 1915
In Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord is the Commonwealth War Grave of 2730 Private William Dunn, serving with the 1/7th Battalion Durham Light Infantry who died 29/06/1915.

William Dunn, was the eldest son of Edward Greaves and Jane Ann Dunn of 97 Baring Street, South Shields. William was born 27th December 1890. He had been educated at Westoe Senior School and enlisted 5th September 1914, arrived in France 19th April 1915, and died 29th June 1915 of wounds received while on listening post duty. He was unmarred.

He was buried at Bailleul.
