Felton, G.T., A/L/Cpl., M.M., 1920
On Brookwood (United Kingdom 1914-18) Memorial is the name of Deal/3399/S Acting Lance Corporal George Thomas Felton, M.M., serving with the Royal Marines who died 21/09/1920.

He married Mary Felton of 16 Station Road, Mawstons Buildings, Seaham Colliery. They later lived at 10, Park View, Seaham Colliery.

He served with the 1st, 3rd and 150th (RN) Field Ambulance, Royal Marines Medical Unit. He was demobilised on the 2nd February 1919. He died, aged 34, on the 21st September 1920 at the 'The Village' Seaton R.D. from [1] Gas poisoning on active service, [2] Pneumonia.

He is remembered at Dawdon on D41.06 and at Seaham S117.02 and S117.06
