The Newcastle Daily Chronicle 26/04/1916 reports:

"Local Military Wedding
Green - Bishop
Capt. C.F.T. Green, only son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Tindell Green, of Sunderland, was married yesterday, at Holy Trinity Church, Sloan Street, London, to Miss Nora Alphonsine Bishop, youngest daughter of Mr. Walter Bracall Bishop, of The Park, Beckenham. Capt. Green, who is a member of the legal profession, is well known as an international hockey player and also holds the Irish lawn tennis championship. He is a notable athlete, and he has held many local trophies for lawn tennis, including the Durham County championship."

Sheila Ely has added this:

I know he survived WW1, but died in 1941. He was 51 in 1941

There is a misprint in the newspaper article above, his Father in Law was Walter Beacall Bishop.

Cecil played at Wimbledon several times between 1910 and 1927. He was in the Royal Army Cycling Corps 1915-1921.

The marriage ended in divorce in 1933. There were no children.
