Grandson of the late Thomas Turnbull, of 26, Queen Street, Grange Villa, Co. Durham.
In St. Paul's Churchyard is a family headstone which reads;-

Beloved husband of the late
Elizabeth Turnbull
who died March 1st 1921 aged 68 years
Also Pte. Thomas T. Vickers
Beloved grandson of the above
who was killed in France
April 26th 1915 Aged 21 years
