In St. Paul's Churchyard is a family headstone which reads
In loving memory of
Thomas dearly beloved husband of Mary Hewison
who died May 26th 1922 aged 56 years
Also Mary wife of the above
who died Nov. 17th 1927
aged 61 years
Also Sign. Thomas Hewison only son of the above
Killed in Action Nov. 5th 1918 aged 21 years
