Martin Robson was born in 1897 at Pelton Fell the son of Martin and Mary Henderson.

In 1901 Martin is living at the Howlett, Pelton Fell with his stepfather Isaac Hughes, Mary and his siblings Elizabeth (1891) and William (1893).

Martin married Mary J Davison in 1916 in the Chester-le-Street District.

Mary Jane, Doris (1917 day maid) Martin R. (1924 Screen Hand) and Adolphe (1918 Theatre Switch Board Attendant) were all living at 4 West Lane, Chester-le-Street. Father Martin was not present.
