In Giavera British Cemetery Arcade, Italy is the Commonwealth War Grave of Lieutenant W.M. Blenkinsop serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 07/11/1918.

Lieut. 12th D.L.I. second son of the above
and beloved husband of
Gladys Blenkinsop
who died from wounds received in action
Nov. 7th 1918, aged 26 years, & was
interred at Ciavera, Italy.
"Faithful to the end".

Newcastle Journal 15/11/1918 reports:-

News has been received by Mr and Mrs Blenkinsop 2 Richmond Terrace Gateshead that their second son Lieutenant William Blenkinsop D.L.I. died on 7th inst. of wounds received in Italy on October 29th. The deceased officer who was married in March this year joined the Forces in 1914 since when he has seen continuous service in France and Italy and was twice mentioned is dispatches.

William Millford Blenkinsop is remembered at Gateshead on G39.004 and G39.051
