In Voormezeele Enclosure No.3 is the Commonwealth War Grave of 82078 Private James Armstrong, serving with the Durham Light Infantry who died 04/09/1918.

Soldiers Died in the Great War gives his Christian name as James, that he was born in Gateshead and enlisted in Newcastle.

He is remembered in Durham on DLI Book of Remembrance page 234
