“Captain Norman Lunn, of the Northumberland Fusiliers, has just been promoted Major. He joined the Army at the end of August, 1914, got his commission at the end of 1914, and has gradually worked his way up to his present position. He was severely wounded in the great push of July 1st last year, and is still in a military hospital in Manchester. He is a son of Mr. J.T. Lunn, of Heathfield, Gateshead.”
