In Gateshead (Saltwell) Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

M2/115632 Staff Serjt.
T.S.L. Armstrong
Royal Army Service Corps
27th August 1918 Age 32.

Thy will be done.

The Army Service Corps did not have "Royal" in its title until 1939-45.
