In Savy British Cemetery, Aisne, France, is the Commonwealth War Grave of 643 Lance Corporal Thomas Richardson Oliver serving with the 16th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers who died 03/04/1917.

In Gateshead (Saltwell) Cemetery is a family headstone for reads:-

In loving memory of
my dear husband
John Oliver O.B.E., J.P.
died 3rd October 1942, aged ?81 years.
Also Jennie, dear wife of the above
died 24th October 1943 aged 84 years.
L/Cpl. Thomas P. Oliver,
only son of above
killed in action 3rd April 1917 Aged 29 years
Interred St. Quentin, France.
