In Honington (All Saints') Churchyard, Suffolk is the Commonwealth War Grave of 518104 Leading Aircraftman Stanley Hawkins serving with the Royal Air Force who died 30/10/1939.

In Gateshead East Cemetery is a family headstone which reads:

who died Nov. 4th 1915
aged ?60 years.
Also Ann Hawkins wife of above
died Nov. 20th 1926
aged 70 years.
Also Isabell daughter of above
died June 2nd 1897
aged 8 years and 8 months.
also Ethel daughter of above
died Nov. 18th 1894
aged 1 year.
"At rest".
Also Stanley Hawkins
Lead. A.C. R.A.F. grandson of above
killed on active service
Oct. 30th 1939 Aged 24 years.
