Son of James Pearson, of 13, High Hedgefield Terrace, Blaydon-on-Tyne, Co. Durham.

In Ryton Cemetery is a headstone which reads:-

my dear husband
James Pearson
who died Aug. 26th 1933 aged 68 years
Also Anne Pearson wife of the above
who died Sept. 22nd 1944 aged 76 years
Also Nelson son of the above
who died in Arras 1917 aged 21 years
