On the Runnymede Memorial is the name of 3040690 Air Craftsman 2nd Class John Thomas Marcham Crow, serving with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died 02/07/1946.

AC2 Crow was a crew member of MG437 Anson 5ANS which was searching for a missing Wellington aircraft. It was seen by three fishing boats. It later struck the mast of one of these boats and crashed into the sea immediately.
