In Rue-du-Boi Military Cemetery, Fleurbaix is the Commonwealth War Grave of 3221 Private John Morley Peart, serving with the Australian Infantry, A.I.F. who died 30/09/1916.

I have some info of John Morley Peart who is on your website. John Morley as he was called by the relatives, was my grandfathers' half brother, his own mother died in childbirth - having my grandfather. His father remarried and had 3 further sons JM being the eldest. It was part of history according to my mother that he went to Australia when my grandfather married my grandmother (who he apparently was in love with!!)

John Morley Peart is remembered at Cowshill on C118.01, and C118.02 and at St.John’s Chapel on S115.03
