James William Draycott.
Age 24. Born Brandon Colliery. Son of Mrs. Jane Amy McCann of 58 Post Office Street, Low Spennymoor. In the 1911 Census he was living at that address, the home of Peter and Jane Amy McCann and their children Mary, Rachel and Lizzie Ann. On the census he has been recorded as a lodger, however the CWGC has Mrs. McCann recorded as his mother.
He is remembered at Spennymoor on S131.02 S131.11 and S131.16
