Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seymour, of 8 School Terrace, South Moor, Stanley. Died at Peggy's Wicket, Beamish, Urpeth.

In Stanley New Cemetery is a headstone which reads:-

who died Jan. 18th 1925
aged 64 years
Also Pte. Arthur Seymour
beloved son of the above
who was killed in action in France
July 18th 1916 aged 22 years
Also James their beloved son
who died Jan. 3rd 1924
aged 15 years
Also the above Matilda died May 2nd 1942
aged 77 years and Irene her darling granddaughter
died May 1st 1942 aged 8 years
